Website Design

Tranquil Trails LLC is a therapy practice in Pittsburgh, PA that was founded about a year ago. The owner originally had a site on a platform that is common for therapists to use but the owner decided she wanted change so she came to me for help.

Brand creation

John Miller founded an investment firm to help grow a business, so he needed a logo and website for his firm. Through iterative design and collaboration we arrived at the current logo and website.

Parsons Senior thesis - Typographic Exploration

Inspired by my grandmother, I created a typeface called "Rememory" that represents what I think the experience of memory loss feels like. I then showcase this typeface in a type specimen of the same name.

Marketing Intern

The summer after my junior year at Parsons I interned in marketing at H. H. Brown, one of the "Berkshire Hathaway family of companies", which owns 19 brands of shoes for which they design, produce, and/or sell their product.

One of the first couples to use both of their expertise in their work during a time when women were still not seen as equal to men, the Eames' are some of my favorite designers of the 20th century. This magazine is my homage to them.

About Me

Nice to meet you

Hello, my name is Paloma Corrigan and I am a graphic designer based in Stamford, Connecticut, where I spent most of my childhood. Before returning home because of the Covid pandemic, I was lucky enough to live in New York City for four years while attending Parsons School of Design at The New School. I graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Communication Design and a minor in Creative Entrepreneurship (business).

Spending some of the most formative years of my life in a city that is bigger than life itself, I was able to learn so much more than just what was taught in my classes. I learned how to take in a barrage of information quite quickly and then focus on the important - like when looking around in the middle of Union Square. I learned how to get lost in Central Park and then find my way out. But one of the most significant lessons I learned living in the city is that nothing can happen without cooperation and respect for others.

In regards to my design style, I take much inspiration from several different designers. The top three designers that I admire most are MinaLima, Milton Glaser, and Marian Bantjes.

"What is central to our way of designing is to marry the digital with the analog...Handwork is still very much part of how we work and on most occasions is the critical beginning."

- Eduardo Lima

"We're always looking, but we never really see."

- Milton Glaser

"...I find that for myself, without exception, the more I deal with the work as something that is my own, as something that is personal, the more successful it is."

- Marian Bantjes
